its quite impossible to describe the awe trishul inspires in you. the horizon... nay, one whole section of the sky is simply hijacked. at gwaldam, you dont have to go very far for a view like this one. this was taken from just outside our room. trishul is over 26,000 feet high, and has one of the highest 'kill rates' of all mountains.

trishul and nanda ghunti

above and below are several images of mt. trishul and mt. nanda ghunti. its the exact same mountains over and over again because i couldnt get my eyes (or lens) off them. forgive me if the repetition bores you. forgive me further if i cant understand why you'd be bored.

as usual, these pics have not been edited in any manner whatsoever. its not quite cricket, however, because i did have an exposure bracket on, so the camera did do a fair bit of work. but what the heck...

i do have other pics from the little treks that we did. by comparison however, those are inconsequential. i shall put them up if i ever get over trishul.

obviously, the pics arent a patch on how these mountains look for real. i urge you to get off your arse and get to gwaldam.

p.s: i notice that these images tend to degrade in quality when i post... if you'd like a high-res image, please feel free to email me with the photograph number.
